Our Service

Though Suzanne treats the full range of psychological and mental health challenges and disorders, her special area of interest is in treating trauma related issues, mood and anxiety disorders (depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, chronic stress, panic).

She works effectively with all trauma-related disorders (PTSD, effects of abuse, violence and traumatic incidents), weight management, suicidality, drug and alcohol disorders, psychosis, self-harming behaviour, body-image disorders, sleep disorders, phobias, grief and loss, gender and sexuality issues, family and relationship issues and adjusting to change, injury or chronic pain.


Appointment times:

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Our hours, between 8 am and 6pm, are flexible, to suit your needs where possible.

Visits are by appointment only.


Your First Appointment

Though most sessions are of 50 minute duration, your first appointment at Two Wings Psychology will be for 60 minutes.  This gives you time to read and fill out the two short forms before the session starts. One is a form explaining limits to confidentiality and asking for your informed consent, and the second is a client information sheet, so that I have your contact and referral details and current health status.

If you have had a Mental Health Treatment Plan or referral letter from a GP or psychiatrist, please bring this along to your first appointment. This ensures that you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. 

If you have had previous psychology sessions in this year, it is important to check how many sessions you are still entitled to – ask your GP or referring doctor, or contact Medicare for more information.


Emergencies or Crisis

Though Suzanne will receive calls by clients between sessions if necessary,  Two Wings Psychology is not a crisis centre. In the event of an emergency, please contact 000, or go to the emergency department of your local hospital.

Payment Policy

Payment is required at the time of the appointment. We have EFTPOS and Medicare facilities, and Medicare rebates can be processed at the time of payment.

Cancellation, except in exceptional circumstances, will cost 100% session fee if notice of cancellation is not given, or it is given less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If notice of cancellation is given 48 to 24 hours before, 50% of the session fee will be charged. Notice of cancellation given more than 48 hours before scheduled appointment will not incur any charge.
